Obituary of Steven A. McDaniel

Please share a memory of Steven to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Steven McDaniel was born on May 16 1955 in Beaconsfield, England. Instead of a silver spoon in his mouth he was born with a silver pick in his hand. A musical prodigy he was featured on many local TV shows and played at many events. After living with a commune of hippies he later committed his life to the Lord after meeting with a pastor at a mental hospital. While going to states to visit his brothers, he listened to the faith message preached by Kenneth Copeland. Forever changing his life, he devoted himself to the ministry. He took care of his younger brothers, William and Lionel, after his father’s death. He met Debbie Hutchins and won her and her daughter over with his big heart. He married Debbie in 1986 and brought up her daughter as his own. They had a son, Peter M McDaniel, in 1987. Steven became a primary source of encouragement while playing for the local prison ministry. He moved the family over to America to attend Bible College in 1995. He eventually graduated valedictorian from School of Life. In 2007 after a falling out with his wife, he moved forward with his ministry plans. Playing for a local Homeless ministry, Search and Rescue, he opened his home up to anyone who needed help. As an avid member of the community he never passed up a chance to play his guitar, playing at many coffee bars and charitable events. He had plans to marry Edith Carpenter, whom he met while catching up with his lifelong friend Bill Hill. He will be missed by his two children, a son, Peter McDaniel, a daughter, Zoey Churchill, ex-wife and friend Debbie McDaniel, his fiancé, Edith Carpenter, his three brothers, Peter, Martin, and William McDaniel, and his four grandchildren, Nicholas, Gracie, Ryker, and Alisa.
