Obituary of Mary Ellen Pendley

Mary E Pendley was born September 1st, 1932 In Muhlenberg Co. Kentucky to Susie and Estel Lear. She passed from this life Thursday, December 11th at the age of 82. Mary was employed by the Hopkins county school system in Earlington KY where she worked for almost 20 years. After retiring, in 1996 she moved to Tulsa Oklahoma to be with her son and grandson. She was a member of Berean Baptist church in Tulsa where she enjoyed the fellowship of the church and her friends, she attended until she was no longer able to due to her health. She loved gospel music, reading, watching television and most of all, spending time with her family. Mary loved to talk and always had a smile and laugh to share with everyone. Mary had a very giving spirit and would put the needs of others before her own, she always offered encouragement to those who needed it and always looked at the bright side of things. She was a loving, wonderful and loyal friend, sister, grandmother and mother. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Steve and Cindy, her grandchildren, Christopher, Devan and Christy and her seven great grandchildren.
