Obituary of Dale Edward Shoopman

Dale Edward Shoopman was born on July 11, 1949 in Keota, Ok to loving parents Bill & Louise Shoopman. He passed from this life and joined his Eternal Father on August 4, 2015 at the age of 66. Dale graduated from Keota High School in 1967. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Education from North Eastern University. He taught Science & Math courses for five years at Morris & Schulter High Schools. Dale retired from John Zink Company in 2011 after 30 plus years of service. Dale was very active in coaching his son’s baseball team from T-ball until 14 and under. Dale loved the outdoors. He spent many hours hunting and fishing with his sons, family, & friends. He enjoyed shooting guns, reloading ammunition, and making fishing plugs. He was very devoted to his family & enjoyed spending time at “Deer Camp” at MeMaws. Dale was a very active member of Olivet Baptist Church and loved his church family. Dale is survived by his wife Alice Shoopman of 39 years, sons Tim & Jeff Shoopman, daughter-in-law Candace Shoopman, one grandchild Grayson Shoopman due September 7, 2015, Mother Louise Shoopman, sisters Sandy Deacon & Gayle Ross, Brother-in-law Kenny Ross, Sister-in-law-Barbara Spivey, Brother-in-law-David Woolverton, Sister-in-law Delayne Woolverton and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and many friends. Dale is preceded in death by father-Bill Shoopman, In-Laws Ken & Marjorie Woolverton, & Brother-in-law-Jay Spivey.
