Cecil McKinley Isbell was born on July 30, 1916 near Russellville, AR in Pope County to William Sherman Isbell and Maggie (Johnston) Isbell. Cecil passed from this life at his home in Tulsa on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 100. Cecil retired after a long career of working in the auto parts business. During his career he worked at Standard Parts and later moved to Jobbers Parts Warehouse. He was a long standing member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church. He loved to fish and be outdoors. Cecil was a very loving and caring man, who adored his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Ruby and Elsie; a daughter, Tonja Tipton; his brothers, Jesse Leland, Lonnie and Robert Isbell and a sister, Lois Freeman. He is survived by his daughters, Margaret “Cil” Alexander and her husband, William of Broken Arrow, OK, Sondra “Jodi” Bliss of Houston, TX and Jan Watkins of Nashville, TN; a brother, Irvin Isbell of Lawrence, KS and a sister, Julia Workman of Columbia, MO; grandchildren: Cecil Ray Ogle of Lakeside, CA, Glenda Weaver and her husband, Aaron of Bixby, OK, Tonya Russell and her husband, Robert of Houston, TX, Kevin Bliss and his wife Michelle of Sapulpa, OK, Michael Watkins of Ft. Worth, TX, Kimberly Watkins of Nashville, TN, Trent Tipton of Oklahoma City, OK and Traci Call of Bixby, OK; 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
