Box 52099, Tulsa, OK 74152 Mimi was born March 5, 1984, in Fort Worth to Georgia Ann Harvey and Henry Carl Vandervoort Jr. She was educated at All Saints Episcopal School, Fort Worth Arlington Heights, Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She made her debut before the Steeplechase Club in the fall of 2004. Mimi was well-liked. She had a big heart and she was painfully honest. Mimi battled an addiction to prescription pain medicine, a battle she lost. Even though she was lost unacceptably early, her story survives her with the purpose to raise awareness and help others. If her story can save one life, then it is worth telling. Georgia was born March 15, 1951, in Dallas to Virginia "Ginger" Grace Irwin and Thomas Dexter Harvey. She was educated at the Hockaday School in Dallas. Afterwards, she served as a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines. Eventually, she completed her formal education at the University of Texas Arlington before earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan University. On June 19, 1978, she married Henry Carl Vandervoort Jr. They were married for 27 years, had two children and were only separated by death. As a professional, Georgia practiced law in Fort Worth as general counsel for Vortt Exploration Company, a privately held oil and gas company, and as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas at Arlington teaching business law. Georgia loved the outdoors. She had a green thumb, she loved animals and had a natural talent and passion towards the game of golf. She had an exceptional way with people and put her all into everything she did. Survivors: Mimi's survivors include brother, H. Carl Vandervoort III; sister-in-law, Dr. Kristin R. Vandervoort; nieces, Carter Eliza Jane Vandervoort and Quinn Rebecca Vandervoort; sisters, Gail Pence and Sherry Bonnell; cousin, Michelle Harvey Mahlo and Maxwell Mahlo. Vandervoort; granddaughters, Carter Eliza Jane Vandervoort and Quinn Rebecca Vandervoort; niece, Michelle Harvey Mahlo; and great-nephew, Maxwell Mahlo.
