I had the pleasure to work for, and with Dr. Kaltenbach for 7+ years. I got to know him and his family and I am grateful for that time spent at his practice. Watching the kids come-in excited to see Dr. K or Dr.Cottenball, (smiling) or a number of other pronunciations children would come up with, since pronouncing his name was a bit challenging for the young-ones. Getting to hear stories from the families that once saw him themselves, as children and now bringing their own children to see Dr. K, was heart-warming. He was an avid OU fan, loved to play golf and have a good time. He will truly be missed.
R.I.P. Dr. K.

I was so terribly sad to hear about such a tragic loss. He has taken care of my two kids since they were babies, he actually just saw my daughter right before this happened and I'm so thankful that the kids got to see him that one last time. He was such a sweet man and obviously had such a huge heart. He will be extremely missed...to his family, you are in our thoughts and prayers and we send our condolences! He gave and meant so much to so many families. Such a blessing. I pray God gets you through this incredibly tough time..but how proud you must be to have had him in your lives....The Clark family
I am so sorry to heard of Dr. Kaltenbach’s passing. Prayers to his family. I will always be grateful for the short time I worked for him. He taught me so much and was a pleasure to work for. My heart breaks for his family and patients. He will be missed!
Im sadden to hear about Dr.K's passing. He was my kids pediatrician for over 2 years. My kids loved him and so did I never a dull moment with him. He will be truely missed! My condolences to his family as well.
In 15 years a lot of changes happen in life. You were the once consistent thing in our life. Knowing you were there every time the kids weren’t feeling good was such a relief because I knew you would give them the best care. You are already so missed and no other doctor will ever have our hearts like you did. RIP
My deepest condolences to Dr K’s family. He was all 3 of my children’s doctor from birth until he had to “kick them out” lol. They wanted him to be their doctor forever. They absolutely loved him! He always had a smile on his face and big hugs for the kids. We’ll never forget you, Dr. K!
You were my doctor as long as I can go back. You made me feel safe when I needed my appendix taken out and gave me courage and strength during some scary times. My prayers are with your family and I pray you are resting in peace.
I have known Dr.K for the last 24 yrs. The good doctor took care of all my six children with such a kind heart. He will be always remembered for greeting us as the Copelands. Rest in piece Dr.K
Dr.K I will miss you so much. You were the greatest Doctor I ever knew. You teased me as a child every time I came to visit, you tried to sneak candy away from me while I was in the hospital knowing how mad I would get lol but most importantly you loved all your patients and making them laugh was something you always did. I remember bringing my own children to see you after not seeing you since I was a child and you recognized me immediately greated me with the best hug and asked how my mom was doing addressing her by her name I knew I had the best doctor as a child and was so happy to have you take care of my babies. Hope your up there enjoying happy hour and living your 2nd best life ever. I love u Dr. K.. until I see you again.
Dr K will forever be in our hearts. He took care of Trenton as a newborn preemie and has continued to be his doc for 12 years. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers of comfort and peace to the family.
I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of Dr. Kaltenbach’s passing.
If you knew me growing up, you would know that I was always sick with something. And in those times I was able to fall in love with the medical field and truly find my passion because of this great pediatrician. As a senior in high school I took a big step towards my goal. I decided to become a certified medical assistant. To complete the course I needed to log 60 hours of clinical training. I knew exactly where I wanted to work at and Dr. K didn’t hesitate to hire me. I got to witness his passion and love for medicine. He truly inspired me. Without him I don’t think I would be two semesters away from a bachelor’s in biology or be close to applying to physician assistant school.
He will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace Dr. K.
Dr. Kaltenbach was my pediatrician all my youth. He definitely made going to the Dr. fun and not terrifying for a child. I'm now 35, I remember going into his office once just before I turned 20 and he was laughing after he had seen and treated me that as much as he would love to continue treating me, I really would have to find a primary care doctor. I simply didn't want to, haha. A great, caring and kind hearted man with such a fun spirt! You will be missed and never forgotten, sir.
I miss you father, so much, and I am so very thankful for all of the wonderful memories I will forever have with you. Thank you for the life you gave to me and for being the man you were. I love you dad.
