Lila Mae Junk, longtime Tulsa resident, was born July 26, 1928 in Oologah, OK to George & Mae (Gibbs) Harris and passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 94.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, John Junk; her daughters, Carolyn Norwood and Susan Junk; her sister, Wanda Jean Nelson; and her special cousin, Mary Ann Jackson.  She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Junk; her grandchildren, Johnathan Norwood, Carrie (Jason Hedrick) Richardson, Anna Junk, Andrew (Sarah) Winningham, Adam (Tammy) Junk, and Harvey Crowder; and her great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Norwood, Abigail Norwood, Greyson Winningham, Korra Winningham, Cleona Fry, Nicole Junk, and George Fry.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria, Tulsa, OK and she will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in a private family committal.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Lila’s name to Limbs for Life Foundation, 9604 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, 73120 or the charity of your choice.
