Johnathan Samuel Norwood was born November 28, 1972, in Bartlesville, OK to Samuel and Carolyn Mae (Junk) Norwood and passed from this life on November 9, 2023, at the age of 50.

John was a kind, caring, adventurous man who loved to travel, eat good food, listen to music and go to concerts. He was an avid fan of the band Phish, and the Grateful Dead. The most important moments of his life were spent with his best friends or as he liked to call them “framily”, and his favorite times were when he was spending time with his 2 daughters. John is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents (Lila & John Junk, and Martha (Carmack) Norwood), and survived by his daughters, Kayleigh Norwood, and Abigail Norwood and a list of co-workers, friends, and extended family members. He will be greatly missed, and endlessly celebrated.

A memorial service will be held at the Ninde Brookside Chapel at 2:00 p.m. November 17th.
