Obituary of Jane Ellen Richardson

Jane Ellen (Morris) Richardson was born February 4, 1936, in Oklahoma City, OK to Stanley Charles Morris & Jeanette Elizabeth (Norman) Morris Dunn and passed from this life and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, on May 10, 2025, at the age of 89.  She is surely dancing with Jesus!

 

Jane graduated from Central High School class of 1954 and married the love of her life, Bill Richardson, on February 14, 1958.  Jane was always a people person.  She enjoyed meeting new people and never met a stranger.  She always met people with a smile and made friends everywhere she went.  She was always dancing, loved music, enjoyed traveling and spending time in nature.  She loved decorating and making her home beautiful.   Jane was very active in her church, SpiritLife Church Ladies Ministry, share group and many activities.  She was a loving wife of 67 years, a loving mom and Nini to her grandchildren.  She was a sweet friend and excellent listener.  She was a faithful prayer warrior and follower of Jesus.  She was always positive and looking on the bright side.  Always giving others grace and mercy.  Known to many as "Little blue eyes."

 

Jane is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband of 67 years, William Phipp Richardson; her sons, Mark Richardson and Ron Richardson and his wife Brooke; her daughter, Karen Michelle Freet and her husband David; her grandchildren, William Garrett Yip, Kathrine Freet and Andrew Freet; her brothers, Don Morris and his wife Sally of San Antonio, TX and Stanley Morris and his wife Debbie of Nevada City, CA; and her sisters, Jeaniece Harvey and her husband Jim of Hernando, FL, Claudia Douglass and her husband Sam of Broken Arrow, OK and April Lucas of Montana.

 

Jane will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and will be privately interred at Memorial Park Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at SpiritLife Church, 5345 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK 74105.
