My deepest condolences to the Mehri family on the passing of their father and grandfather. Dayal and I were born in the same year thousands of miles apart, but we came very close friends based on our love of flurinechemistry.. I would frequently see him at the American Chemical Society meetings
and he would visit me on numerous occasions at Air Products &Chemicals in Allentown PA . He attended the ceremony and dinner where I received the Chairman Award for Excellence and he sent a letter to the CEO, supporting the Award citing my accomplishments in the area of fluorine chemistry . I attended the 25th anniversary of Advance Research and recall being chauffeured around the Tulsa area in his Royal Royce. I also learned that he was a prominent member of the Tulsa community. Dayalwill be remembered for his technical contributions, business, social, and charitable contributions and his legacy will live on
