Barbara Louise Ragan, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away July 6, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. She was born on September 6, 1938, in Newport, Arkansas, to Robert and Connie Watson.

Barbara was raised in Tuckerman, Arkansas and at the age of 17, she married the love of her life, Bobby Earl Ragan. Together, they soon made Jenks, Oklahoma, their home — a place Barbara would live, love, and work for over 50 years. As the proud owner of Riverside Realty, Barbara contributed to the Jenks community. She helped numerous families find their homes, playing a meaningful role in the growth of her community. She was tenacious and deeply committed to the Jenks community. Her faith was the foundation of her life, often shared in her work.

Barbara had a deep love for antiquing and especially took great delight in discovering hidden treasures. She cherished collecting crystal, glassware, and vintage coffee pots — each piece a reflection of her eye for beauty and history.  To those who knew her, Barbara was a steady presence — warm-hearted and caring. She was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, and a loyal friend.  Above all, Barbara’s heart belonged to her family. She adored her children and grandchildren, and the bond they shared was clear in the way they surrounded her with love.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years Bobby E. Ragan, and brothers; Bob Watson, Bowie Watson, and Roger Watson and her sisters; Jimmie Carlew, Betty Watson and Jayne Watson. She is survived by her sons, Bobby E. Ragan, Jr., John Ragan, and Bill Ragan; her sister, Jo Peebles; her brother, Brock Watson; grandchildren, Taylor Ragan, Drew Ragan, and her four great grandchildren.  Barbara now rests in the glorious presence of her Heavenly Father — embraced by a boundless love and eternal peace. May her beautiful soul continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

The service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, followed by interment in the cemetery.
