Mary Margaret Battenfield, age 87, passed away on July 25, 2025. She was born in Paris, Arkansas to Leon and Bess Munn. She was a devoted wife to Dr. Harold Battenfield for 65 years. She was a loving mother and mother-in-law to Lori and Doug Stewart and Amy and Kevin King. She was the proud grandmother to Sam, Max and Jack Stewart and Lauren, Keegan and Grant King. She graduated from Muskogee High school and Northeastern State University where she earned a teaching degree. Mary was a teacher and always had a love for: Battenfield/Munn family reunions, NSU Nifty Fifty group, Southminster Presbyterian church, travel (visited 118 countries), sailing, and skiing.

The funeral service will be on Friday, August 1st at 1 p.m. at Southminster Presbyterian church (3500 South Peoria Tulsa, Ok 74105).
