Junior Ramey was born November 7, 1930, in Coalgate, OK to Truman & Addie (Bohannan) Ramey and passed from this life in the family home surrounded by family on September 2, 2025, at the age of 94.

Junior was an avid deer hunter and liked to fish.  He was a street rodder for years.  He enjoyed family, friends and those he could share life with.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 71 years, Helen Jewel (Trueblood) Ramey; his son, Rick Ramey; and his brother Troy Ramey; and sister, Mary Beeler. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Terry & Marilyn Ramey; his brother, Bob Ramey; 7 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Junior will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 8 at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria.  His funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9 in the Green Hill Cemetery shelter in Sapulpa, OK.
