Dianne Cline Schroedter passed peacefully last Sunday morning October 5th, 2025. Born Muriel Dianne Holt on January 29th, 1939, in Nashville, Tennessee to parents George Holt and Florence Muriel Johnson. Raised in Independence, Kansas, Dianne was an only child and as such, learned the art of friendship at an early age. Like ripples on a pond, her circle of friends grew wider and wider.
Dianne married Joe Cline in 1962, and in addition to raising two children, volunteered her time to many projects including The Children's Home, Tulsa Philharmonic, Children's Day Nursery, her beloved P.E.O. Chapter C.U., Eliot and Edison PTAs, Opera Ball, Cinderella Ball, Heart Ball, United Way and Meals on Wheels! Dianne was passionate about bridge and her fudge recipe was legendary! Her life was full of friends, travel and fun, but marked by tragedy losing Joe in 1994. Young growing grandchildren became her focus and in 1999 lightning struck and Ed Schroedter came into her life, and the fun and travel resumed! Ed and Dianne enjoyed nearly 20 years of togetherness, a wonderful second act for both.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Joe and Ed, daughter Laura Cline Lehman and many close friends. Survived by son Jay Cline and daughter in law Janice Cline, son in law Donnie Lehman, stepson Tom Schroedter and wife Peggy, step grandchildren Phillip and Paul Schroedter, grandchildren Mason Lehman, Josie Concannon, Mariel Cline Maley, Claire Lehman, Kate Martin, and Olivia Cline. Dianne had great grandchildren including Holt Franklin Maley and baby Concannon due in November, whose gender is a secret known only to Dianne and some wonderful health care providers.
A celebration of Dianne's life is scheduled for 2:00 Saturday November 8th at Saint John's Episcopal Church, 4200 South Atlanta Place, Tulsa, Oklahoma
