Leandra Kay Hoobler, 36, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, left us on January 14, 2026, taking with her the quickest wit in three counties and a heart that somehow had room for everyone she met.

Born in Edmond, OK on June 6, 1989, Leandra collected degrees like some people collect coffee mugs—two associate degrees from Oklahoma City Community College & Oklahoma State University to go with her Kingfisher High School diploma. She channeled this education into restaurant management, where her ability to make everyone feel like the most important person in the room served her well, even when dealing with the occasional difficult customer (who probably left laughing despite themselves).

Leandra's legendary comebacks were matched only by her fierce love for family, friends, and every stray animal that crossed her path. She had an uncanny ability to remember exactly what mattered to you and show up when you needed her most.

She’s survived by her beloved wife Natasha Jacob-Hoobler, parents Troy and Deborah Hoobler & stepmother Lilian Hoobler, brother Riley Barton & wife Lisa and sister Ashley James & husband Derek, grandparents Kenny & Loretta Hoobler, and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will miss her infectious laugh & wit. Her brother Zachary Barton is there to greet her with a hug and a smile expecting a witty comment about their reunion.

A memorial service will be held January 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Ninde Funeral Home Chapel.
