McConnell, Charles Goodloe, Jr., 89, died on Monday, July 9, 2007. Mac was born June 10, 1918 in Fairfax, Missouri the son of Charlie Grimes and Lillian (Carter) McConnell. He served his country in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He came to Tulsa in 1950 where he worked for 44 years as a claims adjustor for Farmer's Insurance Group. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge becoming a 32nd degree Mason. He loved horses and most especially loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lorene Johnson McConnell; his son, Charles "Chuck" McConnell of Steamboat Springs, CO; 3 Grandchildren Lory Lacy, Jennifer Treece and Christopher Charles McConnell; 5 great Grandchildren: Quinn, Chelsea, Veronica, Clare and Regan Treece. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Ninde Woodland Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
