Vivian Ann Hotuiz was born February 4, 1915 in Edwardsville, Illinois to Ferdinand and Emma (Sido) Houtiz and passed from this life September 14, 2009 at the age of 94.
Vivian graduated from the Edwardsville High School, St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri and the Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She served in WW II as a Navy Nurse and continued in her medical profession throughout her career. The last living member of her family she is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William and John Karl; and her sister, Eugenia "Genie" Kaiser. No local services are planned.
Burial to be in the Hotuiz family plot in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville, Illinois.
