Obituary of Myrna Hambright

Please share a memory of Myrna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Myrna Hambright, 78, passed away on Friday August 12, 2016 She was born in O’Donnell, TX to Chester and Bernie Etter. She moved to Los Angeles, CA when she was young with her mom. She was a very wonderful, fun daughter. She was always artistic and loved hanging out with friends and her sister Christine, and niece Annie. Her other sister Blanche came to visit as much as possible from TX. She loved them all dearly. She always enjoyed sewing, crocheting, decorating, gardening, house improvement projects, and most of all her kids and grandkids!! She married and had her first daughter Sue Ann Schirmer, of Santa Monica, CA, Kristi Li Fight and husband, Roger of Sequim, WA, Linda Hayman and husband Mike of Skiatook, OK, Janice Blair and husband Jim of San Pablo, CA, Debbie Littlefield of Tulsa, OK, Teresa Glasco of Tulsa, OK, Denise Seaborn and husband Randy of Coweta, OK. She had 12 grandchildren, Ivan, Lianne, Jeremy, Kimberly, Jenny, Angela, Bradley,Joseph, Jennifer, Vincent, Calla, and Hailey. 10 great grandchildren, Natasha, Christian, Payten, Brayden, Blake, Trenton, Rainey, Cooper, Tyler and Kaitlyn. She was a very busy mom. She was always running us somewhere, working on our wardrobes, hair, or piercing someone’s ears. Not to mention piles of laundry and lots of food. She always made sure we had our “school treats” which consisted of maybe 2 cookies. Back then things were very structured. She taught us to have chores and keep a clean house. We all had beautiful bedrooms!! That was her favorite thing to do. Needless to say, that was quite a job. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene, her siblings, Otis and Christine, and 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey Bresette, Jason Milner and Kelly Aga. She was always smiling, giggling and leading us to be happy!! She was our hero and best friend. What an honor it was to have her as our mom. There will forever be a hole in our hearts. We already miss you Mom!!
