Betty Jean Wilson, was born December 4, 1922 in Pawhuska, OK to Coleman Bryan and Elizabeth Lucille (Lipe) McGhee. She passed from this life on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the age of 85. Betty grew up in Hominy, OK and graduated from Hominy High School in 1941. She spent her adult life in Tulsa and married E.D. (Dee) Wilson in 1944. Betty and Dee had two daughters, Paula Wilson Little of Tulsa and Dee Anne Barton of Houston. Betty was a special lady. Her fun-loving and generous spirit endeared her to many friends. But the thing that mattered most to Betty was her family. She was happiest when she was with her family, especially the lights of her life, her grandsons, Ben Barton and Lucas Barton, as well as Lucas' lovely wife, Micah, all from Dallas, TX. Betty was an avid golfer and enjoyed many days improving her game at Cedar Ridge Country Club. For many years, she was a member of the St. Francis Auxiliary Volunteer program. She loved going to movies and watching all sporting events on television, especially football, tennis and golf. Betty was took great pleasure in her participation in the Hominy High School Class of '41 reunions that took place monthly in various locations. She loved seeing her fellow classmates, reminiscing and staying in touch. In addition to her daughters and grandsons, Betty is survived by her loving sons-in-law, Bobby Little and Mike Barton; her sister, Joan Smith; and her brother-in-law, Jay Smith.
