Pendleton, William H. (Bill), 91, died on Monday, January 26, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born December 2, 1917 in Paris, Arkansas the son of Joseph William and Laura (Maynard) Pendleton. Bill served his country during World War II being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate First Class in 1945. He came to Tulsa where he graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1947. He retired from American Airlines where he worked for 31 years as a supervisor over maintenance and overhaul. He was a member of the Cedar Ridge Christian Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He married Lulu &quot;Lu&quot; Meyer on November 21, 1942 in Napolean, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Lu, of 66 years; his sons: Richard Pendleton and his wife Kaye of Houston, TX, Robert Pendleton and his wife Cheryl of Tulsa, OK and Doug Pendleton and his wife Sandy of Payson, AZ; brother: Tom Pendleton of Enid, OK; his Grandchildren: Michael, Scott, Jeremy, Matthew and Mellissa; and six great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Laura Pendleton; brother, Ken and his sister, Helen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home, 5757 S. Memorial. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 in the Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 4010 W. New Orleans, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
