James Calvin Thompson, 85, died on Monday, March 23, 2009. Born January 16, 1924 in Henryetta, OK the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore T. Thompson. He retired from the Tulsa Fire Department. Survivors: Wife, Eula Faye (Miller) Thompson of the home in Delaware,OK; his sons: James C. Thompson, Jr. and Thomas L. Thompson both of Ft. Gibson, OK, Rob V. Thompson of Tulsa; Step-children: Connie Braggs and her husband Verlon, Linda Davis and her husband Ross and Theresa Myers and her husband Jim; Grandchildren: Patrick James Thompson, Dean Aaron Thompson, Tanner N. Thompson, Brittany Thompson and Christy; Great Granchildren: Regan, Caitlin and Kayleigh Thompson and Lauren Faris. Step-Grandchildren: Brandon and Melissa Davis, Matthew and Michelle Davis, Blake Davis, Sara and Brian Fletcher, Amy and Will Ross, Kenny and Kim Myers, Aaron and Kelly Myers, Leah and Michael Atkinson; step great Grandchildren: Dalton Griffin, Denver, Hunter, Sierra and Dakota Ross, Marissa, Madison, Braxton and Bryler Davis, Broc, Boone, and Bret Fletcher, Ethan and Elan Myers and Lowen Atkinson. Memorial service will be at New Haven United Methodist Church. Day and time are pending.
