Obituary of Imagene Cheyne

Imagene Hopper Cheyne was born June 4, 1929 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico the daughter of Jimmy and Willabelle (Hall) Hopper. She completed this life on Friday, May 4, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Imagene married William W. Cheyne who preceded her in death in 1978. She retired from Tulsa International Airport where she worked in the security and insurance department. Imagene was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Sally Goodnight of Tulsa, Cheri Sayles of Los Angeles, California and Mary Murrell of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; her sister, Edna Marie McIntire of Lubbock, Texas; her five Grandchildren, Brian Baker, Shelly Housman, Donny Murrell, Jeremy Murrell, Eddie Sayles and her eleven great Grandchildren Lauren Baker, Cody White, Slade Murrell, Chandler Murrell, Boden Baker, Dylan Murrell, Tiffany White, Hannah Murrell, Sheriff Murrell, Hollie Murrell and Sheridyn Murrell. She is also survived by her son-in-laws David Sayles and Ken Goodnight, daughter-in-law Candice Baker and many cherished family members and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Cheyne and her son-in-law Wayne Murrell. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, treasured sister and loyal friend. She loved everybody and was sweet, kind and caring. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8th in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
