Smith, Ray L., 91, of Jenks, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006. He was born on June 10, 1914 in Bower, OK to John and Mary (Palmer) Smith. Ray worked as a Bridge Superintendent for Jensen Construction. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Smith. He is survived by his wife, Marie Smith, of the home; 2 daughters, Pat Lamon, of Tulsa and Suzie Jones, of Jenks; 1 son, Buddy A. Smith, of Tulsa; 2 step-sons, Bill Sargent and Roger Shrouder, both of Broken Bow, OK; 2 sisters, Cathryn Walker and Helen Pierce, both of California; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday Ninde Woodland Chapel. Service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Jenks Bethel Baptist Church private interment Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
