Obituary of Emory Schlupe

Schlupe, Emory Carl, 63, died on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born December 9, 1942 in Kearney, Nebraska the son of Carl Richard and Alma (Freeze) Schlupe. He worked for many years as a painter and lived in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Yale Avenue Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Wtinesses. He married Debra Lynn Schultz who survives him. He is also survived by his daughters: Katherine Hurtubiss and Amanda Stensrud both of Claremore, Oklahoma; Son: Carl Schlupe of Coweta, Oklahoma; his sisters: Mary Cutler of Mulberry, Kansas, Martha Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Arlene Gorton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brother: Robert Schlupe of Tulsa, Oklahoma; also surviving are his three grandchildren. Memorial service will be Friday, May 19, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Yale Avenue Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses (7th and Memorial). "And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." ~ Revelation 21:3,4
