Betty Ann (Ciemiega)Spies, 80, died on Monday, October 12, 2009. She was born April 13, 1929 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Julius and Louise Ciemiega. She married George Dewey Spies on February 29, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George; her Daughters: Becky Tearney and her husband William of Tulsa and Gail Baker of Houston, Texas; her son: George Michael Spies and his wife Denise of Houston, Texas; her Grandchildren: Heather McGee, Nicholas McGee, Hunter Baker and Brian Baker; her Great Grandchild: Halley McGee. The family requests that memorials be made to the Salvation Army. There will be a private family service. To make an online donation click below:
