Mama was a Best Friend to me, I will miss her so much.When I was a baby, She showed me all of Nature and told me God made it all. She instilled in me a love of animals. She taught me Bible verses / songs. She taught me about May Day-getting a little gift for someone, putting it on their doorstep, and hiding, so that person won't know who sent the gift. I would pick dandelions, put them on our doorstep, and hiding, seeing Mama come to the door, excited because she had a gift,looking around, like she didn't know who it was from! I did this many times!As Mama got older,she was in alot of pain, but the Joy of The Lord was her Strength, and she was always happy,always had Joy, in spite of the pain. She was also Strong in the Lord and the Power of His Might. I would call her frequently and we talked about everything,but especially about our Christian Walk,Faith,The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, The Gifts of The Spirit, That Jesus was coming soon, and The Fruits of the Spirit, which Mama had in abundance. We can learn to live a christian life filled with the fruits of the Spirit by her example. .I thank God, our Father, For giving us such a special Christian woman as our Mother. We kids are truley blessed!
