Jones, Lawrence Russell, 88, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006. Russell was born on August 14, 1917 in Dewey, OK to Ralph and Frances Teresa (Willis) Jones. Working as a traveling salesman for Moulder-Oldham Janitorial Supply Co., he was known as "Jonesy" to many of his customers. He retired after 35 years service. Russell loved traveling and meeting people. He especially was fond of children of all ages. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Harriett, of the home; 2 daughters, Barbara Likens-Kuhn and Bettye Richards, both of Broken Arrow; 1 son, Robert Jones, of Tulsa; 1 brother, Willis E. Ruland, of Mobile, AL; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at the Ninde Whisenhunt Chapel. Service 2:00 P.M. Thursday Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 6465 S.
