Rosa Lee Harper
Rosa Lee Harper was born June 25, 1919 in Huntsville, AL to Albert Lee and Rosa Marie (Ferro) Storey. She passed from this life Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the age of 86 years.
She was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School. She was married to Quentin R. Bushong who preceded her in death in 1985. Rosa Lee later married Eugene D. Harper and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church of Grove, OK and Tulsa Mrs. Club.
She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jack, Al and Albert Louis Story; 3 sisters, Margaret Fitzgerald, Hattie Mae Burns and Ruth Lent. Rosa Lee is survived by her daughters, Joyce Bean and Elaine Gray; sister, Betty Means; 5 grandchildren, Jason and Heather Fisher, Erin McGuire, Evan Creech and Hannah Powell; niece, Cheri Spetter; nephews, Chris and Hugh Lent, Mark White and Lee Burns; brother-in-law, H.P. Lent, Jr.; 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Ninde Garden Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to St. John Hospice. Ninde Garden Chapel 742-5556. www.ninde.com
