Charles Gravis Obituary

Charles Kearney Gravis, III, 78, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather died on Friday, June 16, 2006. Born November 1, 1927 in San Diego, Texas, the son of Charles K. and Elma (Holzaphel) Gravis, Jr. Received a BS in Engineering from S.M.U.. Moved to Tulsa in 1959 where he became President of Maloney Crawford Corp. Preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Doussa Gravis on June 15, 1992. Survivors: Daughters: Marylinn Gravis Haney of Tulsa; Cheryl Gravis Reynolds of Bloomfield, NJ and New York City, NY; Sons: Charles Gravis of Germany, Duncan Gravis of Tulsa, Harwell Gravis of Saudi Arabia and Bishop, Texas, Kearney Gravis of San Marcos, Texas and Gary Gravis of Kearney, MO; eleven Grandchildren and five great Grandchildren. The Trisagion prayers will be said Sunday, June 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the Ninde Woodland Chapel. Service: 12:00 Noon Monday, June 19th at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 11th and Guthrie, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials: American Cancer Society, A.L.S. Association or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
