Obituary of Reba Terry

Reba Loran (Lightsey) Terry, 75, died at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. She was born March 24, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK the daughter of Pearl Jane Burris and Clifton Clyde Lightsey. She was raised in Oklahoma City where she graduated from high school. Reba moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954. She worked for various real estate firms as a real estate broker until she started Reba Terry Realty CO. She was a member of the National Realtors Association and the MLS service. She was an avid poet and writer having had several poems published. She was a member of the Tulsa Night Writers Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Scott Andrew Terry on September 16, 1996. She is survived by her daughter: Nancy D. Terry of Tulsa; her sons: Richard E. Terry, II and his wife Anne of Tulsa and Edward D. Terry and his wife Eva of Rockville, Maryland; her sisters: Theda Milius of Oklahoma City and Freda Staat of Choctaw, OK; her brother: A. D. Lightsey of Oklahoma City; two Grandchildren: Ian Terry and Molly Hollingsworth; two great Grandchildren: Katie and Chris Hollingsworth. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
