Obituary of Carolyn Adams

With a smile on her face, Carol entered into Heaven on Tuesday, June 27, 2006. She was a very special person, loved by all. She was born in Tulsa in 1950 and attended Edison High School. She graduated from Gulf Park College and then attended the University of Texas where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She was a true sports fan and a loyal follower of the University of Texas Longhorns. Carol enjoyed walking, horseback riding, and reading especially in the mountains of Colorado. She truly loved the outdoor world. Carol is survived by her beloved daughters Kimberly, Jamey, Ashley, & Julie and son-in-law Dave Blazer; parents, Cissy & Bob Parker; sister & brother-in-law Debbie and Phil Hinch and their daughters Hailey, Brooke & Bradi. Brother and sister-in-law Bob & Risa Parker of Houston. Nieces Austin Parker & Cara Blackman and nephew Robb Parker, all of Texas. Niece Christy Parker and family of Portland, OR; Aunt & Uncle Gloria & Ed Christy of Houston, TX and cousins: Bill & Sherry Wright - Cisco, TX; Ann & Gary Meyer - Dallas, TX; Bob & Kathy Christy - Houston; Bud & Kathy Christy - San Antonio; Susie & Tom Simpson - Edmond; Cindy & David Foster - Tulsa; Tammy & Garth Pickard - Houston; Greg Zumwalt - Tulsa; Denise & Phil Rounds - Tulsa and numerous second cousins and many others who loved her. Carol was an active and longtime member of First United Methodist Church and loved the Lord. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Friday, June 30, 2006 at First United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. Burial services for the family will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Carol Adams Memorial Fund at First United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. Ninde Woodland Chapel 918-728-8500
