Shepherd, Edward LeRoy, age 80, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was born on August 2, 1925 in Cairo, IL to Earl and Vivian (Dowdy) Shepherd. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Schmitt) Shepherd in October 1994. He is survived by a daughter, Janet Shepherd, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 2 sons, Ron, of Broken Arrow, OK and Doug, of Tulsa; a sister, Shirley Keith, of Cairo, IL; 2 brothers, Earl "Bud" Shepherd, of Cairo, IL and John Shepherd, of Barlow, KY; grandchildren, Thomas, Brent and Philip Shepherd, Sara Shepherd, Haley Burnett and Kyle Shepherd and 3 great grandchildren, Noah, Avari and Maiya Shepherd. Cyrptside service 10:00 A.M. Monday Memorial Park Mausoleum. Ninde Woodland Chapel 918-728-8500.
