Homer Partridge Obituary

Partridge, Homer E., 85, was born in Dustin, Oklahoma June 24, 1921 to his parents Lurty Nester and Nora Watson. He died at the age of 85 August 14, 2006. Mr. Partridge served in World War II in the Army Paratrooper division. Upon honorable discharge he purchased and mangaged Mac's Dry Cleaners for over fifty years. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Maudie Webb and Julie Hardin as well as two brothers: Kenneth Partridge and Bobby Partridge. He is survived by his wife Louella Partridge of the home; his daughter Sharon Cunningham of Ft Smith, Arkansas; his son Ronnie Partridge of Ft Smith, Arkansas; his sisters Mildred Baker of Quinton, Oklahoma and Mary Partridge of McAlester, Oklahoma; his brothers Amos Partridge of Grove, Oklahoma and Charles Nester of Ada, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and a host of friends. His funeral service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with a graveside committal to follow complete with military honors. Mr. Partridge will lie in state Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00. Ninde Whisenhunt Chapel, 2211 E. 6th Street.
