Glenn E. Collins, 95, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Austin, TX. He was born on May 21, 1914 in Spivey, KS to Ray and Bessie (Roessler) Collins. He was a long time member of Nogales Avenue Baptist Church. He spent his career as an employee of Fo-Mac Enterprises where he was a mechanic. During his tenure there, he designed and maintained much of the manufacturing equipment and facilities and even earned a patent. In 2003 he moved to Austin, TX where he enjoyed his remaining years visiting with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Opal Glasgow; a brother, Loren Collins; and his wife of 54 years, Maxine Bryant Collins. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-Law, Michael and Jenny Collins; grandson, Raymond Collins and granddaughter, Megan Collins, all of Austin, TX; 2 brothers, Russell Collins and Dale Collins, both of Kingman KS, 2 sisters, Jean Landwehr, of Wichita, KS and Aloah Ehrheart, of Kingman KS. Service 2PM Saturday, April 10th Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel entombment Memorial Park Mausoleum. Ninde Brookside Chapel, 918-742-5556.
