Margaret B. Williams was born August 30, 1948 in Ennis, TX to Thad and Jane (Dunkerley) Barrington. She passed from this life Monday, April 5, 2010 at the age of 61. Margaret moved with her family to Dallas TX when she was 6 years old. She attended Saint Mary's Dominican College in New Orleans where she met Paul R. Williams, III and they were married April 3, 1971. Margaret and Paul moved to Tulsa in 1976 where their two daughters, Megan and Katherine were born. Margaret took her role as a homemaker very seriously. She enjoyed cooking, planning and hosting parties, and visiting with friends. The house was always bright, welcoming, and seasonally decorated. Most of all, she was a great mom. Megan and Katherine could always count on her to listen, provide advice, and go shopping. Margaret loved to take trips with her family when their girls were younger and, later to vacation with Paul. More recently, she has enjoyed visiting her daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Virginia. Margaret was always involved in her community. She was president of the PTA at her daughters' elementary school, a member of the Jr. League of Tulsa, Directress of the alter guild at Trinity Episcopal Church, and recently a member of Town Hall Council. She also loved her walky-talky group and book club. She was a loving, wonderful and loyal friend, sister, mother and wife. Margaret will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and her sister. Margaret is survived by her husband of 39 years, Paul; daughters and sons-in-law, Megan and Jose Laboy and Katherine and Scott Smith; grandson, Hayden Paul, her wonderful in-laws, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
