Ramey, Wendell Gene, 57, of Jenks, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2006. He was born on October 7, 1948 in Broken Arrow, OK to Troy & Betty (Goen) Ramey. For several years Wendell owned a carpet store in Jenks. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a daughter, Laurie Ramey, of Tulsa, OK; a son, Bradley Ramey, of Jenks; 2 sisters, Jeanne Traylor, of Spring, TX and Carol Ramey, of Jenks; a brother, Troy Don Ramey, of Jenks; 2 grandchildren, Chasity and Carson Ramey and a great grandson, Reon McKnight, Jr. Service 1:00 P.M. Monday Jenks Bethel Baptist Church with interment in Bixby Cemetery. Ninde Woodland Chapel 918-728-8500.
