Obituary of Delmar Mulkey

Delmar Mulkey, age 90, retired electrician for SUNOCO Oil Company died Monday evening in the St. John Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ninde Woodland Chapel with Rev. William L. Hester, Jr. pastor of Southern Hills Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Mulkey, Keith Mulkey, Jearld McAfee, Danny Castleberry, Bob Mulkey, Johnny Rae Mulkey, Jim Shonka and Scott Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Record, Vern Mulkey, Otis Mulkey, Jerry Mulkey and Gary Bergt. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Mulkey was born on May 5, 1920 in Bixby, Oklahoma to John and Martha (Kay) Mulkey. He was employed with the SUNOCO Oil Company as an electrician for 38 years retiring in March 1978.
He is survived by 3 sons, Benny Delmar Mulkey of Jenks, Mickey Ray Mulkey of Tulsa and Rickey Lee Mulkey of Tulsa, 2 sisters, Eunice Mason of Tulsa and Bea Boze of Broken Arrow, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Mulkey on March 21, 2003.
