Floy Prafka Obituary

Prafka, Georiga Floy, 97, homemaker, died Friday. Floy was born November 5, 1908 to her parents Noah Ness and Eva Johnson in Peru, Kansas. In addition to raising her children and perfecting culinary skills that live on in her family's homes, Floy worked for Mason's Furniture and Appliance assisting them in clerical duties and sales. She served as the president of the Sunray DX Women's Auxillary and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Preceded in death by her loving husband, many family members, and most of her friends Floy's long life has made a lasting impact on all that knew her. Floy is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen Hunter and her husband Harley of Tulsa, OK; her son George R. Prafka of Edmond, OK; her sister-in-law Jo Donna Ness of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Ninde Woodland Chapel located at 5757 S. Memorial in Tulsa, OK. with Pastor Norman Wilkie officiating. The final resting place will be in the Rose Hill Abby Mausoleum.
