Jane J. (Norton) Satterfield, 91, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in the Claremore Nursing Center in Claremore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Satterfield was born February 7, 1915 in Granby, MO the daughter of Lee and Margaret Elizabeth (Patterson) Norton. She made her home in Tulsa for many years where she raised her family and held various jobs. She is survived by her daughter: Margaret Skidmore and her husband Ken of Claremore, OK; her son: Stephen Bass and his wife Jan of Colcord, OK; her grandaughter, Gabrielle Jane Sutton of Claremore, OK. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, David Glen Reed in 2005. Services will be Monday, October 30, 2006 in the Ninde Whisenhunt Chapel with the Rev. Tom Branch officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Freedom Hospice, 6666 S. Sheridan Rd., Suite 100, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133. Friends may begin calling at the funeral home (2211 E. 6th Street)starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday.
