Barsh, Helen Shirley "Shirley", 91, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 in Kellyville, Oklahoma. Shirley was born August 15, 1915 to her parents Herbert Ray Ruland and Kathryn Agnes Willis in Elk City, Kansas. She married John Eugene Barsh on October 20, 1946 and enjoyed 56 years of marriage until he passed away March 5, 2002. Shirley was first and foremost a homemaker raising her family and creating familial tradition yet she found time for a thirty year career as a secretary for the business she and her husband owned, Barsh Produce. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca (Becky) Dent and her husband Ron of Kellyville, Oklahoma; her brother Willis Ruland of Mobile, Alabama; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of friends and loved ones who will ever cherish her with fond memory and lasting impact. Services will be held Monday, October 30, at 2:00 at Ninde Woodland Chapel (5757 S. Memorial) with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ninde Woodland Chapel.
