Jack Albert Musick was born September 22, 1922 in Tulsa, OK to Albert T. and Anna Margaret (Hanks) Musick. He passed from this life Monday, November 13, 2006 at the age of 84. Jack was a 1940 graduate of Tulsa Central High School, where he organized and led the Daze Band. He attended the University of Oklahoma, joined the O.U. Varsity Club band as vocalist and bass player until his enlistment in the Army Air Corp. He served as a B-26 pilot with the 320th bomb group in Europe. At war's end, he returned to Tulsa and soon married Letha Lee Cox. Jack worked with his father at Al Musick Drug Stores for over 40 years. Jack's son, Jeff joined his father and grandfather in the business as a pharmacist. Jack was a member of Harvard Avenue Christian Church. He was active in the Tulsa Men's Club, Rotary Club, Tulsa Executives' Association and maintained his life long love of music, performing at various functions and clubs in town. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Letha Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Rhonda Musick; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda (Lindy) and Gary Hazen; son, Scott Musick; sister-in-law, Alene Cox; seven grandchildren, Brent Musick and his wife, Katie, Steven Scott Musick and his wife, Rhonda, Danette Olsen, Noel Paynter and his wife, Jill, Carrie Collier and her husband, Creighton, Luke and Michelle Musick; seven great-grandchildren, Max and Macie Musick, Penny Musick, Jacob Olsen, Zachary and Jenna Paynter, Cayman Collier; Jack's dog and loving companion, Jazzy; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Harvard Avenue Christian Church. Ninde Woodland Chapel - 728-8500
