Donna Jean Keenan was born May 22, 1949 in El Dorado, KS to Donald Worth & Jennie Cordilia (Whiteside) Keenan and passed from this life August 2, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 63. Donna enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts; especially scrap booking. She also enjoyed spending time and playing cards with her friends at the Glenpool senior citizen center enriching their lives with love and laughter. Her great love for people spilled over to the animals she encountered as well. Everyone knew she had a soft spot for animals. She could not turn a stray away. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Donna is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her brother and his wife, Don & Pattye Keenan of Sapulpa, OK; her sister-in-law, Audrey Keenan of El Dorado, KS; her niece and her husband, Ann (Keenan) Conner and husband Chuck; their children, Lane, Kristen & Natalie; her nephew, Donald W. Keenan, II and his wife Danielle; their daughter, Chaeli; and his daughter, Sarah; and a host of friends. Donna will lie in state Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside committal will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park cemetery in El Dorado, KS. Ninde Brookside ~ 918.742.5556 ~ www.ninde.com
