Phoebe Wilkinson Mayfield, 79, died at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday, February 18, 2007. Miss Mayfield was born April 5, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Frank McConnell and Juanita (Wilkinson) Mayfield. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University and her Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. She taught school for many years. She moved to Tulsa in 1981 where she was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. She is survived by her sister: Mrs. Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Howard of St. Louis, MO; her sister-in-law: Mrs. Alice Mayfield of St. Louis, MO; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending. In lieu of flowers, acknowledgments may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 S. Cincinnati Ave., Tulsa, Ok 74101.
