Bump, Linda Lu (Johnson), 64, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007. Linda was born October 9, 1942 in Olympia, Washington the daughter of Olaf Edward and Luise (Mekkes) Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Bump; her mother: Mrs. Luise Geer and her husband Neal Geer, of Olympia WA; her daughters: Tina Bump of Edwards, CO, Terry Gilbert and her husband Joe of Tulsa, OK, Tricia Davis and her husband Stan of Dolores, CO; her Grandchildren: Jake Davis, Madison Gilbert, Kennedy Gilbert and Sawyer Davis; her sister: Carol Sue Dennis, her husband Art of Arlington, TX: and numerous nieces and nephews. Her father, Olaf Edward Johnson preceded Linda in death in 1948. After graduating from the Washington State University, Linda married her husband Larry Bump and they enjoyed 42 years together. Linda was an avid traveler, having lived in Libya, Iran and England for many years. She had an adventurous spirit as she traveled to numerous places throughout the world with her husband and family. Linda was a tireless volunteer during her 24 years of living in Tulsa particularly at The Gilcrease Museum, where she was first a Gillie then on the Board of Trustees. She also served on the boards of Hillcrest Hospital and the Magic Empire Girl Scout Council. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and volunteered her time for numerous other organizations. In recent years she was a co-owner of a small vineyard in Napa California, where she was active in the management of the vineyard and sales of the wine. She and Larry returned to Tulsa in the fall of 2006 to be near family and friends as her illness progressed. She was loved by many and will be missed by all those who knew her. Memorial service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10 at the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church. Memorials: Gilcrease Museum, 1400 N.
