Mr. Walter A. Burkhart age 81, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 in the Ambassador Manor Nursing Center in Tulsa.
Walter was born on May 9, 1929 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Walter R. and Alice Rose (Cornell) Burkhart. Walter is a lifelong resident of Tulsa. After high school graduation he attended Tulsa University for 2 years. He was associated with the J.D. Young Company for over 10 years as a deliveryman. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church.
He is survived by his sister, Karol Burkhart of Tulsa and a brother John P. Burkhart of Tulsa.
Memorial service for Mr. Burkhart will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses , 2626 N. Lewis.
