Obituary of Gary Hawkins

Gary James Hawkins, Sr., age 66 died Monday, October 4, 2010, in St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Mr. Hawkins was born on January 1, 1944 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Chester Powell and Ethel Marie (Johnson) Hawkins. After graduation from high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served with the Navy Seabees during Viet Nam. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Kay Moore, she preceded him in death on January 11, 2009.
After his honorable discharge from the Navy he owned and operated his own heavy equipment business.
He is survived by a son, Gary James Hawkins, Jr of Tulsa. a sister Shirley Hawkins Keith of Texas.
Private family services will held at a later date.
