Obituary of Patience Wilson

Patience Gordon Wilson was born October 17, 1920 in Wekiwa, Oklahoma the daughter of Orville and Leora (Wallace) Gordon. She passed away on November 28, 2010 at the age of 92 in Houston, Texas. For the past five years she has lived in an assisted living center near her daughter. Pat lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma all of her life and retired from St. John Medical Center. After retirement she volunteered at St. John, and later for Pastor Emeritus William Wiseman of the First Presbyterian Church where she was a member for over 20 years. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Howard, to whom she was married forty nine years and her granddaughter, Stacy Elise Logan. She is survived by her son, Kief Wilson; her daughter, Kaye Logan; her grandchildren, Kieffer Wilson, Kelley Wilson Eby, and Lynn Logan Lee; her niece and nephews, Pati McKee, Ken McKee, Rusty, Dennis, Tim and Shirley Gordon; and her beloved friend and sister-in-law, Ahunawake Gordon. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11th in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 709 South Boston Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74119. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made payable to Ray Bynum, c/o Emeritus Memorial Oaks Assisted Living, 1414 Sandy Springs, Houston, TX 77042 for the employee Christmas fund.
