Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frances Delia (Lehman) Hall was born February 22, 1922 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Ernest and Julianna (Volkret) Lehman and passed from this life December 26, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of twenty-two years, William Isaac Coley; her husband of twenty-three years, Raymond Lee Hall; her son, David Raymond Coley; her sister, Hazel Bennett; and her brothers, Dale Lehman and Lowell Lehman; Frances is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet & Gary Fullingim and Julia & David Deetz; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Frances experienced a full life. In the first part of her life she experienced great love, friendship and tragedy. She was a strong woman and persevered through the loss of her best friend and husband as well as the loss of her son David. She took on a career as a surgical tech at a downtown Tulsa hospital which she worked at for over 20 years. After many years of being unwed she met her second love, Raymond Hall, and soon every one knew her as his "Sweety heart"
During these times her daughters had families of their own and she spent many days traveling across country to spend time with each of her grand children. Once retired she spent countless hours volunteering for Meals on wheels, honing her skills at Uno and she found enjoyment in quilting, embroidery and crocheting. Each of her Grandchildren received tokens of her love in the form of quilts and afghans to which they cherish to this day.
Frances lived in Tulsa Oklahoma the majority of her adult life and was a faithful member of Garnet Baptist Church.
