Jimmie Fred Jewell was born September 15, 1919 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Bernard William and Anna (Kasbaum) Jewell and passed from this life February 17, 2011 in Talihina, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Irene (Buster) Jewell; his sons, Michael J. Jewell and Samuel Jewell; his sister, Blanche Jewel; his brother, Harry Saunders; his grandchildren, Ronald Jewell, Scott Jewell and Jonathan Jewell; Jim is survived by his son, Ronald G. Jewell; his grandchildren, James, Joseph, Donald, Angel, Dawn and Steve; and one great great grandson.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Prue, Oklahoma.
