Obituary of Sandy Glenn

Sandy Glenn, age 72, passed from this life on Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home in Jenks. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday , April 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Congregational Church with Rev. Paul Ashby officiating. Sandy was born on October 2, 1938 in McPherson, Kansas to Chester Russell and Hazel Dean (Randolph) Richards. She graduated from Nowata High School in 1956. After graduation she and Gary Duane Glenn were united in marriage on August 12, 1956 in Carmi, Illinois. They moved to Tulsa in 1959 where they co-owned Southern Hills Garage until 1987 when they opened Gary's Automotive Service. She was preceded in death by husband Gary Duane Glenn and her brother Terry Richards, her parents, Chet and Hazel Richards. She is survived by her two daughters, Kellie Glenn of Glenpool and Karin Glenn Cantrell of Jenks, three grandchildren, Donald Lee Dechaine, Jr., Lacie Renee Dechaine, and Cody Waite Hogan and numerous great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials in Sandy's name be made to the Fellowship Congregational Church, 2900 S.
